What is portRxOpticalPower?
This reports the optical power level being received on the port. It's one of the most direct health indicators for a fiber link, since a drop signals attenuation, a dirty connector, or a fiber break. For example, an admin seeing this reading drop several dB below its baseline on a specific line port would suspect a degrading fiber patch and schedule a cleaning or replacement.
