What is outOpticalPowerLaneTotalMax?
This read-only value is the highest total transmit optical power recorded for the lane during the current statistics interval. It lets an admin see whether transmit power ever exceeded a safe ceiling that could overdrive the receiving end's photodiode. For example, a rising outOpticalPowerLaneTotalMax across several polling cycles could prompt an operator to attenuate the link before it saturates the far-end receiver.
