What is otu4TimDefectMode?
This read-only CoriantTypesTimMode value reports which trail-trace fields are actually checked to raise a TIM (Trace Identifier Mismatch) defect on this OTU4 (about 111.8 Gbit/s) line facility, defaulting to NONE. With this at NONE, mismatched SAPI/DAPI/operator identifiers received on the facility will not be flagged as a defect at all, which matters if an operator is intentionally not enforcing trail-trace checking yet during a migration. For example, an operator hardening a newly turned-up circuit on the OTU4 facility on slot 3 would change this away from NONE to start actively catching accidental cross-connections via trail-trace mismatches.
