What is otu4TimAct?
This read-only CoriantTypesEnableSwitch value reports whether a detected TIM defect on this OTU4 (about 111.8 Gbit/s) line facility will cause the NE to insert AIS downstream, defaulting to disabled. Enabling this determines whether a trail-trace mismatch stays a local alarm or actively propagates as AIS to downstream equipment, changing how visibly the fault spreads through the network. For example, with this enabled on the OTU4 facility on slot 3, a genuine SAPI mismatch there would also cause downstream nodes to see AIS, rather than the mismatch being visible only in this facility's own alarm list.
