What is ospfAreaType?
This setting specifies whether an OSPF area is a normal area or a stub area, defaulting to normal. An operator configures an area as stub when that area shouldn't carry external route information, reducing routing table size and churn for routers within it. Setting a remote, low-capability site's OSPF area to stub is a common way to shield it from unnecessary external route updates.
