What is oduNimEnable?
This read-only CoriantTypesEnableSwitch value reports whether NIM (a Non-Intrusive Monitoring function on the ODU) is enabled or disabled, defaulting to enabled. Operators check this to know whether the NE is actively performing this monitoring function on the channel, which affects what performance data is available for that ODU. For example, an operator troubleshooting missing NIM-derived statistics on a given ODU tributary would first check that oduNimEnable is still set to enabled rather than having been turned off.
