What is ochOsPreemphasisValue?
This OCTET STRING value (default 1.0) sets the specific magnitude of transmit-signal preemphasis applied on the coherent optical channel (och-os) on the line side of a pluggable transceiver, working alongside the separate on/off preemphasis switch. An administrator fine-tunes this numeric value when the default preemphasis amount does not fully compensate for the particular transceiver or fiber characteristics in use.
