Module: CORIANT-GROOVE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CORIANT-GROOVE-MIB::ochOsActualRxFrequency

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.42229.1.2.4.1.19.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CoriantTypesFreq

Access: read-only

Description: The actual rx laser frequency for coherent interface with separating Lo laser from Tx. 0 means Lo and Tx share the same laser where 'frequency' attriute will indicate both Tx and Rx.

Conditions:../../possible-pluggable-types != 'SFP+' UNITS:MHz default value :0

What is ochOsActualRxFrequency?

This read-only CoriantTypesFreq value (in MHz, not applicable to SFP+ pluggables) reports the actual receive local-oscillator laser frequency on the coherent optical channel (och-os) on the line side of a pluggable transceiver for a coherent interface with a separate local-oscillator laser from the transmit laser; a reported value of 0 means the two share the same laser. An administrator reads this to confirm the receive-side local oscillator has actually tuned to the intended frequency on interfaces sophisticated enough to tune Tx and Rx independently. For example, on och-os a correct, nonzero actual-Rx-frequency reading confirms the receive local oscillator is properly locked even while a separate transmit-side tuning issue is being diagnosed.
