What is ntpAssociationNtpAdminState?
This is the administrative on/off switch for a specific NTP association, indicating whether the operator has enabled (up) or disabled (down) using that particular server or peer, defaulting to up. This matters because it lets an admin selectively take one NTP source out of use, for example a server known to be misbehaving, without deleting its configuration or disabling NTP entirely. For example, if one configured NTP server starts reporting inconsistent time, an admin can set that association's ntpAssociationNtpAdminState to down while leaving other, healthy associations active.
