What is moduleTemperatureInstant?
This read-only value is the current, real-time internal temperature of the optics module, reported to three decimal places of precision. It gives an admin the module's temperature right now so overheating can be caught before it causes signal degradation or a protective shutdown. For example, during a hot-aisle cooling failure, an operator watching moduleTemperatureInstant sees it climb toward the module's rated limit and proactively reduces chassis load.
