This read-only Unsigned32 value is an arbitrary local integer the agent uses to identify a particular LLDP neighbor connection instance, unique only among the neighbors seen on this indicated local system/port. It functions purely as a table key so that other attributes for the same discovered neighbor (chassis ID, port ID, system name, etc.) can be correlated together. For example, if two LLDP frames are received from different neighbor devices on the same port over time, each would be tracked under its own distinct lldpRemoteSystemLldpRemoteIndex value.
