What is goptAdminStatus?
This is the administrative up/down state of a GOPT interface, defaulting to up, letting an operator deliberately take a protected optical group in or out of service. Because GOPT interfaces typically wrap protection switching logic, setting this down is a deliberate action to suspend that protection function, for example during a planned protection-scheme reconfiguration. An admin would verify this is back to up after maintenance to make sure automatic protection switching is re-armed.
