What is eth10gEthFecType?
This read-only CoriantTypesEthFec value reports the FEC (Forward Error Correction) working type configured for this 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) client port, defaulting to auto. FEC choice affects how much bit-error correction capability, and therefore reach and error tolerance, the port has on its client-side link. For example, an operator running client port 3 over a longer or noisier cable run might rely on this reading a non-default FEC mode to confirm stronger error correction is active rather than assuming the auto-negotiated default is sufficient.
