Module: CORIANT-GROOVE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CORIANT-GROOVE-MIB::eth100gLldpStatusIf
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.42229.1.2.4.1.9.1.1.19
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Port level lldp control. Value of 'rxonly', then the LLDP agent will receive lldp, when lldp-status-ne is also enabled.
Value of 'disabled', then LLDP agent will not filter and receive LLDP frames on this port. If there is remote systems information which is received on this port and stored in the system before the lldp-status becomes disabled, then the information will naturally age out.
Note: txOnly and txAndRx modes are not supported.
default value :disabled
What is eth100gLldpStatusIf?
This read-only enumerated value reports the port-level LLDP control mode on this 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) client port: notApplicable, rxonly, or disabled (txOnly and txAndRx are not supported here). With rxonly selected and LLDP enabled network-wide, the port will listen for and store neighbor-discovery information without transmitting its own LLDP frames, which is how an operator sees what's plugged into a client port without advertising local details outward. For example, setting this to rxonly on client port 2 would let the NE learn and display the identity of whatever switch or router is connected there, while disabled would let previously learned neighbor data simply age out.
