What is amplifierGainRangeMax?
This reports the maximum gain value, in dB, the amplifier can be set to. It tells an admin the upper bound of achievable amplification, important when planning to compensate for a long, lossy fiber span. For example, an admin designing a long-haul span with high fiber loss would check this maximum gain value to confirm the amplifier is capable of enough amplification before committing to that span length.
