What is amplifierGainAdjustment?
This is an offset value, defaulting to 0.0, added to the automatically calculated gain when the amplifier is in automatic control mode. It lets an admin fine-tune the auto-calculated gain without switching entirely to manual mode. For example, an admin noticing the auto-gain setting is consistently half a dB too low for a specific span could apply a small positive adjustment here to compensate.
