What is amplifierAdminStatus?
This is the administrative state of the amplifier, letting an operator permit or prohibit its use independent of its actual operability. It lets an admin deliberately take an amplifier out of service, for example before physical work on the span. For example, an admin performing fiber maintenance downstream would set this to down first to prevent the amplifier from lasing into an open connector.
