What is udpSetupRate?
This read-only Gauge32, in packets per second, reports the current rate of new UDP protocol flow setups. It helps an admin spot UDP-based floods, such as DNS or NTP amplification attacks, distinct from TCP-based threats. For example, an admin sees udpSetupRate spike sharply during a suspected DNS amplification attack against a hosted service.
