What is tcpSetupRate?
This read-only Gauge32, in packets per second, reports the current rate of new TCP protocol flow setups being observed. It is a live traffic-volume metric an admin watches for sudden spikes indicating a TCP-based flood or a legitimate traffic surge. For example, an admin sees tcpSetupRate jump tenfold during business hours and checks whether it's a marketing campaign driving legitimate traffic or an attack.
