What is pgExternalPortReceivedBadCrcPackets?
This 64-bit counter counts packets received on the external port that failed CRC cyclic redundancy check validation. A rising value signals frame corruption on the external link, which could stem from a bad cable, a failing NIC, or a duplex mismatch. For example, an admin troubleshooting intermittent packet loss on the WAN side would check this counter to rule out physical-layer corruption before suspecting the security engine.
