What is tapeTblharderrors?
tapeTblharderrors is an Integer32 counter reporting the number of hard (unrecoverable) errors recorded for a specific tape drive entry. An admin sees a nonzero and growing tapeTblharderrors count as a signal that a backup job on that drive may be failing to write or read data reliably. For example, if tapeTblharderrors increases right after a backup job reports failures, the admin knows the tape drive hardware, not the backup software, is the likely cause.
