What is scSIDeviceType?
This enumerated INTEGER reports the type of a specific SCSI initiator device, with values disk or unknown. An admin uses it to understand what kind of device is presenting itself as a SCSI initiator to the Storage Center. Seeing 'unknown' for a device that should be a recognized disk type would flag it for closer investigation before trusting it in a production path.
