This read-create Com21RowStatus attribute lets an admin create a VLAN instance and, once created, enable, disable, or delete it, but the VLAN cannot be enabled or disabled until hcxVlanShelf, hcxVlanSlot, hcxVlanCardType, and hcxVlanPort all have valid values. An admin uses this as the master control switch to actually activate a fully addressed VLAN. For example, an admin's attempt to set hcxVlanPriStatus to enable fails until all four addressing attributes have been populated with valid values first.
