This read-only Gauge32 counts ARP packets dropped by authentication filtering on this VLAN during the previous 15-minute period. An admin trends this against the current period to see whether a suspected attack is escalating or subsiding. For example, an admin compares previous and current ARP filter counts to determine whether an attack is escalating or has stopped.
