This read-only EpochTime value records the timestamp of the last time the ComPort topology on this ComController changed. Administrators use it to quickly tell how recently modems were added, removed, or re-acquired without having to poll the whole port table. For example, an admin polling this OID and seeing it jump ten minutes ago can correlate that with a technician swapping a ComPort card on the headend shelf.
