This read-write true/false attribute, false by default, controls whether a trap is generated when a subscriber's device sends an ARP message specifying an incorrect IP address. It helps an admin catch misconfigured or malicious customer equipment sending bad ARP traffic. For example, an admin enables this to be alerted when a customer's misconfigured router starts ARPing with an IP address outside its assigned range.
