This read-write true/false attribute, false by default, controls whether the ComController generates a trap when it detects a user impersonating the ComController server's own IP addresses. Enabling it gives an admin a security alert against ARP-based spoofing of the headend's identity. For example, an admin enables this trap to be notified immediately if a compromised subscriber modem attempts to impersonate the ComController's IP address on the network.
