This read-write StuGain attribute sets the minimum power level a ComPort should try when hunting for an upstream channel, used in the INVITE_CONFIG message sent to acquiring STUs, with a default of 18. Together with hcxAcqMaxPower, this defines the lower bound of the power range new STUs sweep through while trying to range in on an upstream channel. For example, if STUs on a plant segment with unusually low loss are failing to range because the sweep starts too high, an engineer might lower hcxAcqMinPower to let them acquire at a lower starting power.
