Description: Used to invoke an ComPort Upstream RF test. Setting the attribute to start will invoke test. Setting to stop will terminate the test. When reading this attribute, nil shall be returned if no test is active and start if the test is in progress. Note that the hcxStuUpstrmTestFreq shall be validated before initiating the test.
What is hcxStuUpstreamTest?
This read-write INTEGER (nil, start, or stop) remotely triggers an upstream RF test on the ComPort, with the description noting the associated hcxStuUpstrmTestFreq must be validated before the test can start, and reading returns start while a test is active. An admin uses this to verify a subscriber device's upstream transmission capability without dispatching a truck. For example, before troubleshooting a customer's slow upload speeds, the admin sets hcxStuUpstreamTest to start(2) to run an RF test on their specific ComPort.
