Description: This attribute provides secondary information related to an ComPort acquisition. If there is a failure in the system that prevents a user from receiving full service, then it will be indicated by this attribute. If an ComPort is unacquired or no problems were encountered then this attribute shall equal noFailure.
What is hcxStuAcqFailInfo?
This read-only INTEGER reports secondary information about a ComPort's acquisition -- noFailure, vlanFailure, servGrpInvalid, bandwidthUnavail, or unauthorized -- explaining why full service could not be provided even if the device is technically acquired, per the description. An admin uses this to diagnose why an acquired ComPort still isn't getting full service, rather than assuming acquisition alone means everything is fine. For example, seeing bandwidthUnavail(4) here for an acquired ComPort tells the admin the segment is oversubscribed rather than the device itself being faulty.
