Description: Contains the first alternate frequency for this RX port. This need NOT be unique. i.e. other RX ports within the receiver group can also share the same alternate frequencies. Valid values are 0 or 5000-40000KHz. 0 indicates no alternate frequency. If this frequency was being used by the receiver port and is set to 0 then the port shall revert back to the primary frequency. Minimum step size is 50. i.e. 50000hz. Default is 0.
What is hcxUpstrmAltFreqA?
This read-write INTEGER (0..40000) configures the first alternate frequency this RX port can hop to, with the description stating 0 means no alternate is configured and that valid nonzero values run 5000-40000 KHz, and that multiple RX ports in a group can share the same alternate. An admin sets this so the port has a pre-defined fallback channel if the primary frequency degrades. For example, an admin sets hcxUpstrmAltFreqA to a known clean frequency in the plant so that if ingress hits the primary channel, the port can hop there automatically.
