Description: contains a string defining the secondary service states of the Upstream Unit. The substrings supported by the Upstream Unit shall be: TEST - in test, as set by hcxUpstreamUnitConfigState, MT - offline, again set by hcxUpstreamUnitConfigState, FAULT - hardware failure, UNEQ - unequipped.
What is hcxUpstreamUnitSecServState?
This read-only DisplayString (up to 16 chars) carries a set of substring codes describing secondary service conditions of the upstream unit: TEST for a test mode set via hcxUpstreamUnitConfigState, MT for offline/maintenance, FAULT for a hardware failure, and UNEQ for an unequipped slot. It supplements the primary service state by telling an admin the specific reason a card is not fully in service. For example, seeing FAULT in this string tells the technician to expect a hardware problem rather than an intentional offline/test condition on that RX card.
