It is the fastest-updating noise indicator available, ideal for catching brief noise spikes while an admin is actively working on the plant. For example, an admin dispatches a technician to wiggle suspect connectors one at a time while watching hcxPortRealTimeMaxNoise for a spike that identifies the faulty connection.
