Description: The Oc3 Unit Restart Action is an active-value. The setting of this attribute to restart(2) causes the Oc3 card to reset and download a new image.
What is hcxOc3RestartAction?
This read-write action attribute causes the OC-3 card to reset and download a new software image when set to restart(2). It gives an administrator a remote way to power-cycle and reload a misbehaving OC-3 card without a truck roll. For example, an operator seeing an OC-3 card stuck reporting stale statistics could set this attribute to restart to force it to reboot and re-download its firmware image.
