What is hcxEtherShelfId?
This read-only integer (1 or 2) identifies which of the two chassis shelves the Ethernet card described in this row of the card-level table is installed in. It lets an administrator locate the physical shelf holding a given Ethernet card before reading its hardware or service-state details. For example, an operator inventorying Ethernet cards across a two-shelf headend would use this field to separate shelf-1 cards from shelf-2 cards.
