Description: The number of Routing Frames. e.g. RIP, OSPF etc. A value of 4294967294 indicates unknown.
What is mspRouting?
This read-only Counter32 counts routing-protocol frames such as RIP or OSPF attributed to this row's MAC address (MacIndex) in the msp protocol-mix history table. Breaking traffic down by protocol per host lets an admin see which application is actually responsible for a host's load, instead of only knowing the total Frames count from the basic-load table. An admin trying to explain why a host generates constant background traffic would check mspRouting to see whether routing-protocol traffic, rather than user activity, accounts for most of it.
