Description: Number of reports in the ICMP Routing Problems - Network Group. The reports apply to Network Routing problems and include Destination Net Unknown (Number of Destination Network Unknown Report Frames), Network Prohibited (Number of Network Prohibited Report Frames), Network TOS Unreachable (Number of Network Type of Service Unreachable Report Frames), Network Unreachable (Number of Network Unreachable Report Frames) and Source Route Fail (Number of Source Route Failure Report Frames). A value of 4294967294 indicates unknown.

What is msiNetRouteProblem?

This read-only Counter32 rolls up ICMP Network Routing Problem reports for this row's MAC address (MacIndex) in the msi ICMP-report history table, per its description covering Destination Net Unknown, Network Prohibited, Network TOS Unreachable, and Network Unreachable conditions. Bundling these related network-level routing errors into one counter lets an admin spot that a host is having network-reachability trouble in general before deciding which specific sub-condition to investigate. An admin who sees msiNetRouteProblem rise for a branch-office router's row would then check its NetUnreachable and DestNetUnknown counters to identify exactly which destination network is unreachable.
