Module: CODIMA-EXPRESS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CODIMA-EXPRESS-MIB::mplpTimeStamp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.226.3.2.1.1.4.1.4.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-only

Description: A textual representation of the associated TimeStampIndex object which shows the History time-stamp for this row. The value is in the format 'hh:mm:ss dd/mmm/yyyy'. The time (hh:mm:ss) is expressed as a 24-hour clock. An example is 14:58:15 05/Jun/2003.

What is mplpTimeStamp?

This read-only DisplayString gives the human-readable version of the TimeStampIndex for this row of the mplp peer-pair protocol-mix history table, formatted as 'hh:mm:ss dd/mmm/yyyy', e.g. 14:58:15 05/Jun/2003. An admin browsing the mplp peer-pair protocol-mix history table through a management tool reads this field instead of the raw numeric TimeStampIndex so the sample time is immediately understandable without conversion. When reviewing a spike in one of the counters recorded alongside mplpTimeStamp, an admin would glance at this timestamp to see it happened at, for instance, 09:15 on a Monday morning rather than overnight.
