Description: Identifies the MAC address of this row.
What is mlpMacIndex?
This read-only MacAddress object identifies, by its Ethernet MAC address, which host's row of counters is being reported in the mlp protocol-mix history table. Because the history data in the mlp protocol-mix history table is organized per host, an admin needs this field to know whose traffic or errors the accompanying Frames/Bytes/error/protocol counters in that row belong to. Polling mlpMacIndex alongside its sibling counters lets an admin pull up, say, the row for a specific server's MAC address and see that node's history in the mlp protocol-mix history table rather than an aggregate for the whole switch.
