What is mliFragRequired?
This read-only Counter32 counts ICMP Fragmentation Needed report frames for packets sent with the Don't Fragment bit set attributed to this row's MAC address (MacIndex) in the mli ICMP-report history table. Because this is broken out per host in the matrix rather than only as a switch-wide ICMP total, an admin can trace a specific ICMP condition back to the exact machine causing or experiencing it. An admin would notice mliFragRequired climbing for one row and investigate a host hitting an MTU limit somewhere on its path, a classic cause of intermittent large-packet failures.
