What is ipsiRouteChange?

This read-only Counter32 counts ICMP Route-Change reports for this peer pair, combining the various Redirect-for-Host, Redirect-for-Net, and TOS-qualified redirect message types into one total. A climbing ipsiRouteChange count tells an admin that routers are actively steering traffic between these two hosts onto different paths, which can be a sign of an unstable or suboptimal routing setup. For example, if ipsiRouteChange rises sharply right after a router firmware upgrade, the admin might suspect the new firmware altered how that router advertises redirects.
