Description: Percentage in relation to total number of Frames i.e., Percentage of the total frame count that have hardware or software errors. Divide this objects value by 1000 to get the real floating point percentage value, e.g. 132 = 0.132 % wire speed. A value of 4294967294 indicates unknown.
What is ipsdErrorFrames?
This read-only Gauge32 reports what percentage of this IP session's total frames had hardware or software errors, again scaled by 1000 (so 132 = 0.132%). An admin watches this counter to spot a specific IP-to-IP conversation generating a disproportionate share of frame errors, separate from ipsdUtilization's traffic-volume measure. For instance, an ipsdErrorFrames reading of 5000 (5%) on a session would point the admin toward a cabling or NIC problem between those two specific hosts.
