Module: CNTAU-MIB

OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntifCpu

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The cpu number where the device driver for this interface resides.

What is cntifCpu?

This read-only INTEGER reports the CPU number (lcp-1 through lcp-7) where the device driver for this interface resides. An admin troubleshooting a misbehaving interface would use this to know which specific processor's health and load could be affecting that interface's performance. For example, an interface exhibiting drops that reside on a CPU also showing high utilization would suggest the CPU, not the interface hardware itself, is the bottleneck.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.2.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CNTAU-MIB::cntifCpu

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.2.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CNTAU-MIB::cntifCpu.1
