What is cnticmpOutTmXceeds?

This read-only Counter reports the number of times this node sent an ICMP time-exceeded message for a datagram whose time-to-live expired while passing through. An admin would treat a rising count here as evidence that packets are looping or traveling excessively long paths through this node specifically. For example, a burst of cnticmpOutTmXceeds directed at one destination would suggest a routing loop somewhere downstream of this node.
