This object reports the current error code from DMA controller channel 2, the second channel assigned to writing outbound Ethernet messages out of memory. An administrator compares this value against channel 0's error code to see whether an outbound DMA fault is affecting one transmit channel or both. For example, if channel 2 reports operation-timing while channel 0 shows no-error, only half of the node's outbound Ethernet DMA capacity is impaired, which changes the urgency of a repair.
