Module: CNTAU-MIB
OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntdlType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.13.2.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The type of this data link layer.
What is cntdlType?
This value reports which data link layer type this entry represents, chosen from llc1, llc2, llc3, snap, cnet, dnls, strp, or ppp. An administrator uses this to know exactly which link-layer protocol is running on this entry before interpreting its other counters in the right context. For example, an admin seeing a dlType of ppp on an entry would know to interpret its packet counters in the context of a point-to-point link rather than a LAN segment.
