What is cntdlActivePort?

This value reports the current number of active ports on this data link layer. An administrator monitors this against cntdlMaxPort to see how close this link is to exhausting its port capacity. For example, a value that's been steadily rising toward the maximum suggests the admin should investigate whether ports are being properly closed and reclaimed after use.
