This counter records how many table row modifications have been completed successfully through SNMP SET requests from a network management station. An administrator uses this to track how frequently existing table entries are being changed remotely via SNMP, as opposed to new rows being added. For example, comparing this counter to cntRowAdditions over time tells the admin whether remote management activity on this node is mostly editing existing configuration or adding new entries.
