This value, valid when the node is configured as a proxy agent, reports how many proxied nodes this node is set up to manage in !NDE. An administrator uses this to confirm the proxy agent's configured fan-out matches the expected number of devices it's supposed to represent. For example, if this count is lower than the number of devices the admin expects to reach through this proxy, some proxied nodes were likely never configured in !NDE.
