cntHwMonCpu
Module: CNTAU-MIB
OID (symbolic): CNTAU-MIB::cntHwMonCpu
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.333.1.1.4.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The CPU number of the monitor that noticed the CPU failure.
What is cntHwMonCpu?
This read-only INTEGER reports the CPU number of the monitoring processor that detected the failure recorded in cntHwFailedCpu. An admin cross-references this with the failed CPU number to understand which processor is acting as the watchdog for the one that failed. For example, if lcp-1 is reported here monitoring a failure on lcp-4, the admin knows lcp-1's monitoring path is functioning correctly even as lcp-4 failed.
